VIRTUAL SERVICES
Saturdays 10:00am - noon
Although Kohelet has closed it's physical doors for now, we are still alive and well--and we have gone virtual. Please join us for virtual Shabbat services via Zoom. We meet every Saturday at 10:00 am. If you have a siddur and/or a chumash, so much the better. If not, no problem. We would still love to have you join us. This is a wonderful help us stay connected to each other and remain hopeful. Our Zoom number is 749 601 1012.

TALKS BY SUSAN HEITLER
I am writing to invite you to join for a series of short interactive talks I'll being doing via Zoom. The goal of the series is to turn the emotional challenges posed by the coronavirus into an opportunity for building the skills for living an ever-more-loving life.
Jordan Polevoy, a former Denver native who lives currently in Raanana, Israel, initiated these talks. He is building a website that will host Israel-based talks, yoga and meditation classes, and more to help make this a time of thriving for all of us.
If you should want to join but the timing is problematic, the talks will be posted shortly, possibly within a week, on Jordan's soon-to-be-launched website.
Please see the attached flyer (below). The attachment includes the times of the talk in each time-zone.
In addition, here is the ZOOM link to the talk.

WE STAND DIVIDED: BOOK DISCUSSION
Wed., May 6 8-9:30 p.m. by Zoom
We Stand Divided: The Rift Between American Jews and Israel
by Daniel Gordis
This book delineates the long history of the rift between American Jews and Israel, from before the establishment of the State of Israel. Are Jews a religious group or a nation? Americans, the author posits, tend to think of Jews as a religious group, while Israelis think of Jews as a nation, with all shades of gray in between. The author also talks about the importance for both groups of listening to and cooperating with, the other.
The book is relatively short. If you are interested in taking part in this discussion, please email Daniel.savin@cuanschutz.edu.
