Weekly News SHABBAT SERVICE JANUARY 14 PARSHA VAYECHI TORAH READER: Daniel Hettleman
JANUARY 29, 5:30/6:15 P.M.
The time is upon us to gather as a community to review the past year and plan together for the next. Come to Kohelet’s Annual meeting on Sunday evening January 29th. No football, so no need to check your calendar.
Enjoy the camaraderie of friends and members over pizza and conversation and then participate in your favorite activity, - the sign-up sheet. D’var Torah? Just do it!
Pizza at 5:30. The meeting will start promptly at 6:15. Meet your new Board members, co-presidents and be relieved that all is in place for another year - including, we expect, the playground. And if you want more, there will be surprise entertainment as you learn and then debut your new Kohelet Song, a unique feature for any congregation in the Judaic world (to the best of our knowledge).
Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity to all come together, to express your ideas for the future and to hear our new ones as we plan an exciting year ahead. The Kohelet Board
SAVE THE DATE JAN 28
Mitch Siegel is going to read from the Torah on January 28th. While it isn't really his bar mitzvah because he read the same Rosh Chodesh Torah portion for his service in Israel, Mitch and his family want to do a Kohelet reading, too. Dan and Aviva will read from the Torah as well, and the Siegels will sponsor a special lunch for everyone!
