HELPING THE HOMELESS WITH SAMMY WEISER (Phil and Heidi's son)
Dear Kohelet Members,
For my Bar Mitzvah project, I am creating bags that people can give to the homeless. They have hand warmers, wipes, toothpaste, tissues, deodorant, bandaids, apple sauce, granola bars, chapstick, and a toothbrush in them. The bags only cost ten dollars, and all proceeds go into making more. Also, Purim is coming up and they will be great for Matanot L'evyonim or giving to the poor. If you would like to get a bag or bags to give out or would like to make a donation, please email me firstname.lastname@example.org or check my website Here’s to the futurewhich has an order form.
We will have our next Library Shabbat dinner on March 6 at 6:00 pm. Please join us as we welcome Shabbat in a warm, intimate, yet lively setting. Please RSVP to Misty (email@example.com) by March 2, and please let her know what dish you wish to bring to share.
PURIM IS COMING

MEALS FOR THE HOMELESS EASTER MORNING
Sun., April 12 at 8:00 a.m. at Lowry Community Church
Members of Kohelet will once again be participating in the preparation and delivery of ~1500 meals for the homeless on Easter morning at Lowry Community Church (855 Yosemite). We plan to arrive at 8am on April 12. (Note: this is during Passover. The seders are on the preceding Wednesday and Thursday.) The work is usually finished between 11 and 12. You don't have to stay till the end, and you can arrive late. Those who participated in the past have universally found the experience to be rewarding. Please let Bennett (email@example.com) know if you plan to join us--he will keep everyone posted on any last minute details or changes.
Thank you to Ayelet Talmi who has volunteered for Setup/Cleanup this week!
